Open Talk – Space of working on the art scene
We started the project with an open talk at the ‘University of Arts’ in Tirana. More than 30 young artists participated in this activity, by having an open talk and a question-and-answer session with: Ema Andrea, teacher at the University of Art and project leader, Jonida Beqo, director of Metropol Theatre, Altin Basha director and artist influencer and Herida Duro Director of Policies and Cultural Development Strategies at Ministry of Culture of Albania. With ‘Open Talk – Spaces of working on the art scene’, we reached the first goal of bringing together young artists and art institutions, by defining the important role of collaboration and initiative. Together we agreed in the institution’s major role as agents of change and the need of providing more collaborative spaces with students and academics. The students and participants received detailed information regarding: open calls, auditions and proposals they can make for their future in these public institutions.
