Our Artists

Anything I can not transform into something marvellous, I let go. Reality doesn’t impress me. I only believe in intoxication, in ecstasy, and when ordinary life shackles me, I escape, one way or another. No more walls.

Past Projects

Slide Open Talk - Spaces of working on the art scene We started the project with an open talk at the ‘University of Arts’ in Tirana. More than 30 young artists participated in this activity, by having an open talk and a question-and-answer session with: Ema Andrea, teacher at the University of Art and project leader, Jonida Beqo, director of Metropol Theatre, Altin Basha director and artist influencer and Herida Duro Director of Policies and Cultural Development Strategies at Ministry of Culture of Albania. View More Slide Galeria 'Kuboiddy' A wooden structure in the form of a movable house was erected in which people were invited to enter and have a unique experience. The interior was filled with artworks that elaborated the pervasive issue of violence against women and girls at home or in public spaces. View More Slide Games in the backyard The protest action against sexual violence "Games in the backyard" was shown in the city of Shkodra and Tirana. Director Ema Andrea has severely stung the Albanian society through this show, where after every guilty sexual abuse always comes the victim. View More Slide Mrs. Mirandolina Guesthouse In February, we met with 13 young artists proposed by the directors of the University of Arts focused on Theatre and Performance. During the workshop held in Tirana from the 18th to the 29th of February, we managed to train our participants into working with efficiency towards bringing together a professional show. View More

Testimonials

Mirandolina has been a challenge for me in relation to the character. Considering the problems that exist in the group such as responsibility, respect, desire, will, dedication “I realized that before you are an artist you have to be a man above all”. And yet we managed with sacrifices on both sides. I learned that the stage is the temple of truth, the magic of which conquers every professional, and conveys this magic to the public.

Games in the backyard is a project started without thinking long and held only by the desire of some people who share the passion, but which resulted in the most popular youth show by viewers and ourselves. Games in the backyard have no fixed rules, no exact way to get on stage, no fear of the spectator; There is only momentum, desire, commitment, positivity and hugs.
